Every Wednesday at Noon, Pastor Jaech will offer a Bible Study on the Book of Exodus. Bring a sack lunch if you like.

"The Gospels" -

Continuing in May, weekly Bible studies at 10:00am TUESDAYS (note: new day) and 4:30pm Wednesdays, will be studying "The Gospels", by James Kallas, a stimulating introduction and comparison of the four gospels. The resume of Dr. Kallas includes joining the Navy at age 14; Phi Beta Kappa Society member; Fulbright scholar; Chicago Bear football Player; Missionary in French Cameroun, West Africa; Parish Pastor; Professor of Theology and Philosophy at CA Lutheran College; and President of Dana Lutheran College.

As you can imagine, with that varied background, his video study is dynamic! If you're hungry for some solid Bible study, looking for Christian fellowship, or merely curious about the differences in the gospels, please join us!

In the Library...
Submitted by Dee Woodward

"Faithful Yet Changing: the Church in Challenging Times" is Written by our ELCA presiding bishop, Mark S. Hanson. Bishop Hanson says, "I have a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a love for the people of God, and an ache for the brokenness of the World."

How will the church look in the future, can we change to meet the needs of a changing world, and still hold on to our traditions? Do we change just for the sake of change? Bishop Hanson invites us to join him in a "lively conversation" as we look to the future of our individual church, the church at large, and its mission.
