Submitted by Dee Woodward
"Faithful Yet
Changing: the Church in Challenging Times" is Written by our
ELCA presiding bishop, Mark S. Hanson. Bishop Hanson says, "I have a
passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a love for the people of God,
and an ache for the brokenness of the World."
How will the church look in the future, can we change to meet the
needs of a changing world, and still hold on to our traditions? Do we
change just for the sake of change? Bishop Hanson invites us to join him
in a "lively conversation" as we look to the future of our individual
church, the church at large, and its mission.
